Spring is the most beautiful season in Dorf Tirol. At the beginning of March there are often warm temperatures around 18 degrees Celsius. Nature awakes and you can hear the first chirpings of the birds becoming more and more vivacious. On the hiking trails and footpaths along the irrigation channels you meet only a few people and you can watch the first spring flowers.

Tyrolean culture in the spring

Music groups from South Tyrol and surroundings play live-concerts. Sometimes traditional folk music merges with contemporary elements. At the beginning it might sound a bit strange, but it is definitely worth hearing.

Hiking trails in Dorf Tirol

Dorf Tirol is blessed with a vast range of eventful and multifaceted trails. There is the famous “Falknerpromenade” –starting right next to Residence Sonnblick. The promenade is special because it represents the alpine-Mediterranean character. The impressive “Herrschaftsweg” hiking path leading from the “Farmer Höfe” to Tyrol Castle is a further highlight. Not to forget the numerous hiking trails. It is a pleasure to walk along in the warm spring temperatures. Don’t miss it!
